Training & Teaching

Professor Mehdian is involved with the teaching and training of overseas Spinal Surgeons, Spinal Fellows, Specialist Registrars, Senior House Officers’ and Medical Students attached to the Unit.

Regular teaching sessions and audit meetings are held on Friday morning and Tuesday evening. Regular spinal forum are held in the Spinal Unit for visiting surgeons and Professor Mehdian is involved in this forum, as well as Medlink course for A-Level students every year, during these courses live operations are performed,
Professor Mehdian also has been invited as a faculty member, guest speaker in number of national and international meetings.
